My name is Stephen Schieberl. I am a Creative Technology Lead at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Oregon. I build everything from large format installations to experimental interactive art to database-driven web sites and more.
Pictured: Screenshots from the "Basement" prototype Here's a very early prototype of my DJ software for Android called "Basement". This just demonstrates loading files and mixing them manually. It currently loads WAV, MP3, and OGG. It will have tempo detection, waveform display, scrubbing, grid/cue system for syncing, and more. Lots of general tightening up, as well. My goal is to make pro-quality software for the Android that can run on almost anything. A 600mHz LG Optimus was used in this video. Huge thanks to Mario from Badlogic Games for libgdx , upon which this project is based, and advice on doing audio in native code.
