This is an installation piece I had up at the CyborgCamp pre-party held at Fashionbuddha / Grassy Knoll Gallery . Partygoers gyrated around on camera or simply dragged fingers across a capacitive multi-touch screen (or both) to warp a poster of Bob Dobbs ' face behind them. There are too many moving parts to this project to bust out a full tutorial, but I'll be providing source and write-ups to key components this week. Thanks to Todd Greco for the idea to use Bob's picture, Adam Sager for editing this video, and mmmlabs' Surya for finding some creative ways to play with it in this video. Soundtrack is an edit of my "Let Us Pray" on Let's Go Outside 's (yours truly) "Conversations With My Invisible Friends" on Soma Records . Made in Cinder with OpenCV and msaFluid blocks.
