My name is Stephen Schieberl. I am a Creative Technology Lead at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Oregon. I build everything from large format installations to experimental interactive art to database-driven web sites and more.
Pictured: The largest picture I could find on Google Photos of someone doing a nickel Nickel is a new type of blog engine focused on minimalism in use and implementation. There are no plug ins. It does not plug-in. There are no themes, web controls, or databases. It doesn't even have web pages. It's C#.NET and JSON in the back, jQuery and CSS in the front, with a single HTML template in between. It's features are stripped down to the bare minimum to create and expose content. It's HTML 5 and plays well with all modern browsers and portable devices. It makes its presence known on search engines. It's tiny and fast as hell. It's just rad. NICKEL ON CODEPLEX The Codeplex page includes a full feature list, link to the demo site with admin login, downloads, subversion info, and full documentation.
